Showing your child that you care about his or her education will warm your heart, while attending school events will keep the blood flowing through your body and your brain.
When you have earned 10 red tokens, send them in and your child will receive a t-shirt! Here are some ideas of how you can earn a red token in the 2014-2015 school year.
1. Attending a Title I Family Event (Math Night is coming up on January 23!)
2. Volunteering on a class field trip
3. Helping administer centers in the classroom
4. Volunteering at a PTO event
5. Helping your child’s teacher with seasonal activities
6. Checking out materials from the PRC for the first time
7. Providing written feedback about how we spend our Title I Parent Involvement money (the 1% set-aside)
8. Being a Watch D.O.G.S. volunteer
9. Attending PTO events
10. Participating in Lunchtime Learning
11. Volunteering in the Media Center
12. Attending a conference
13. Viewing a Number Talks video and completing the graphic organizer.
